Settings

Each section of Settings: your business, notifications, account, domain, languages, social media, footer, wiweb branding and how to delete your business.

Settings brings together your business and account details. You open it from your account menu, at the top right, or at app.wiweb.io/ajustes. On the left there's the list of sections; here they're in the same order.

If something is missing from your legal pages, you'll see a red “Missing” mark next to the field (or “Not valid” if the tax ID is wrong) and a red dot next to “Business” in the list. A custom domain that isn't working yet puts the dot next to “Domain”.

Business#

  • Name, City, Neighbourhood and “What you do”.
  • “Business address” — the one shown in “Where to find us”, on your site's map and in your details for Google. If it came from your Google Business Profile, press “Change it by hand” to change it. When you change it, your site's map becomes a simple sketch until we generate it again for the new address.
  • Opening hours — all seven days, with split shifts (each day's “+”) and “Use Monday's hours for the whole week”. It's the only place they're typed in: in the editor, the footer and the “Opening hours” widget bring you here with “Adjust the hours”. You can also ask the AI: “on Fridays I close at 15:00”.
  • Owner details — “Who the owner is”: “A company”, “Self-employed (autónomo)” or “A personal page, no business activity”. Depending on that, the “Registered company name” or your “Full name”, the “CIF” or the “NIF or NIE” (Spanish tax IDs), the “Registered address” (if you leave it empty, we use the business address), the “Phone” and the “Email”. A personal page only asks for the phone and the email; a site in the United States doesn't need the tax ID, because there's no legal notice there.
  • “Email for data requests” — if you want privacy requests to go to a different address.

We ask for the owner details the first time you publish (see Publish); after that you change them here. Your business name, phone and email are changed here, not in the AI chat (the phone and email also in the footer, from the editor). The name and the city also reach your site when you press “Save” — the name in the footer and its copyright line, for example — and show up as soon as you publish. We use these details to write your legal texts.

  • The logo — upload it, or paste its link. It shows at the top left of your site, over the hero. Without a logo, your business name shows at the top.
  • “Version for light backgrounds” — if your logo is white, upload the dark version here: we use it wherever the background is light, such as the legal pages.
  • “Version for dark backgrounds” — if your logo is black or dark, upload the white version here: we use it wherever the background is dark, such as a dark hero or footer. Both appear as soon as you've added a logo, and they're optional: without them we use the logo above.
  • The icons — the favicon, the one in the browser tab, and the app icon, the one that appears when someone saves your site to their phone's home screen. When you upload the logo we create them from it; change them if you have a better version for small sizes.

They're saved with “Save”. The logo's size on the site is set in the editor: in the preview, open the cover and, in the “Hero” window, go to “Logo”.

Notifications#

  • The first switch — on Grow, “Weekly report by email”: every Monday, how your site is doing, what is worth fixing and your visits. On Free and on a personal page, “WI's Monday email”: WI's new tasks for your site, only when there are any (see WI suggests). Below it, which email we send it to.
  • News and tips from wiweb.
  • Alert for sudden score changes — marked “Soon”: it isn't available yet.

Account#

  • Sign-in email — the email you sign in with. To change it, you have to confirm it in both inboxes, the old one and the new one.
  • Password — “Change”, or “Create” if you signed in with Google and never set one.
  • Dashboard language — “Español” or “English”: for the dashboard, your emails and the assistant's replies. It changes as soon as you pick it.
  • “Sign out on all devices” — in case you signed in on a computer that isn't yours.

Domain#

  • Your free address — yourbusiness.wiweb.me. With “Change” you choose another one; the old one still takes people to your site.
  • Your own domain — connect yourbusiness.com, with Grow. Step by step in Connect your own domain.

Languages#

The main language of your site and the languages you've added. See Languages and translations.

Messages from your site#

The email we notify when someone writes to you through the Contact form. If you leave it empty, we use your sign-in email. See Messages.

Google Analytics#

Your Google Analytics 4 ID (G-…) or Google Tag Manager ID (GTM-…), if you want to measure your site with Google too. You don't need to: wiweb's Analytics already works with nothing set up. If you add them, your site starts using cookies and the cookie notice updates itself.

Your Google Business Profile#

Find and confirm your Google Maps profile. Your rating, your reviews and your opening hours come from it. See Your Google Business Profile.

You can also connect the profile with the Google account that manages it: “Connect with Google”. Once connected, your rating and reviews update by themselves (“Connected with Google · …”, “up to date …”), “See reviews” opens the Google profile screen, you can pick another profile if your account has several, and you remove it with “Disconnect”. Connecting isn't open to every account yet: if you don't see the button, yours can't yet.

Social media#

The links to your profiles, which appear in your site's footer, and your YouTube channel username for its widgets. Your TikTok account connects with “Connect TikTok”: your site shows your profile, your followers and the covers of your latest videos, updated every day. We only read, we never post. Connecting Instagram directly is being tested and isn't open to everyone yet.

The copyright line in your site's footer. The rest of the footer — tagline, contact, social media — is changed in the editor; the opening hours and the address, up above in Business.

wiweb branding#

The “Show “Made with wiweb”” switch. On Free the branding is always there, and you'll see “Remove it with Grow — $9/month”. On Grow you remove it or keep it, as you like.

Danger zone#

Delete your business and all its data. To avoid accidents, you have to type your business name before pressing “Delete business and all its data”.

  • Your site stops showing straight away and, if you had a paid plan, it stops renewing.
  • We send you a confirmation email. For 90 days it can still be recovered: write to us at soporte@wiweb.io. After that, everything is deleted and there's no going back.

If all you want is to stop paying, you don't need to delete anything: go back to Free and your site stays live.
