Every change to your site is recorded: who made it, when and where it came from. If something breaks, you can go back to how it was before a change.
Where it is#
In your account menu (the white button at the top right; on your phone, the ☰ menu) › “History”, or at app.wiweb.io/historial.
What you see#
The changes, grouped by day, each with its label:
| Label | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Created | When your site was created |
| Choose your site | The version you chose when you created it, Hero or Grid (Choose your site) |
| Your change | An “Update” in the editor, something you saved in Settings, a profile or account you connected, or a publication (“Published at …”) |
| With AI | A change you asked for in the chat |
| Suggestion applied | A task from “WI suggests” |
| New content | The texts we write for a new page |
| Your rating and reviews, brought up to date from your Google Business Profile | |
| Import | An adjustment we made to your details |
| Restore | A step back taken from here |
At the bottom, under “Your account and your data”, you can see which email you sign in with and when you last signed in, and under “About the people who visit your site”, what we count about your visits.
Going back to an earlier version#
- Find the change you want to undo.
- Press “Restore” on that row: your draft goes back to how it was just before that change. Note that it goes back as a whole, so any changes made afterwards are undone too. Rows with nothing to undo — your site being created, or a publication — don't have the button.
- Check it in My page and publish.
Restoring only affects the draft. Your live site doesn't change until you publish. And restoring is a change too: it stays in the history as “Restore”, so you can always go forward again.
Other ways to undo#
- “Undo” in the editor bar discards what you've typed and haven't saved.
- “Undo” under each AI change, in the editor's chat, removes it straight away. Anything you ask for from the Home box is undone here.
- For older changes or ones from another day, History.
- Blog posts don't appear here: each one has its own “History”, in its editor. See Your blog.
