Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (local storage, identifiers, pixels) are used by the websites of Stackslides S.L. (“wiweb”), in accordance with Article 22(2) of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE, the Spanish Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act) and the guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). There are three separate sites and they do different things, so each one is covered separately.
1. wiweb.io (the public website)
On your first visit you will see a notice with three options: Accept, Reject and Choose what I accept. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Until you decide, nothing that is not necessary is loaded.
- Necessary (always active). Your answer to the notice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key
wiweb_cookie_consent_v2) so that we don’t ask you again, and in thewiweb_consentcookie (wiweb.io domain, 1 year) so that the dashboard, app.wiweb.io, respects the same decision. That cookie only contains what you chose—analytics yes or no, advertising yes or no—with no identifier of any kind. The site needs no other cookie to work. - Language (only if you choose one). If you choose a language in the selector on wiweb.io or in the dashboard, we save your choice in the
wiweb_langcookie (wiweb.io domain, 1 year) to remember your language across wiweb.io and app.wiweb.io. It only contains the chosen language (esoren), with no identifier of any kind, and it is not created unless you use the selector. It is a technical cookie: it does not require consent. - Analytics (only if you accept it). Two tools:
- Vercel Web Analytics measures visits and page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device: it generates an identifier from your IP address and your browser that changes every day and cannot be used to follow you across sites.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) measures which pages are visited and what is done on them. If you accept this category, it sets the
_gaand_ga_*cookies on wiweb.io (2 years) to tell one visit from another; the dashboard, which is a subdomain, uses the same ones. More information: how Google uses cookies.
- Before you decide. The Google tag (gtag.js) loads in “consent mode”: until you accept, all its permissions are denied, it does not set or read any cookie or identifier, and it only sends Google cookieless signals (which page has loaded, without knowing who you are). When you accept a category, we pass that on to it, and only then does it set the cookies for that category. Rejecting leaves it as it is.
- Advertising (only if you accept it). Two tools, to measure our ads and to show you advertising based on your visit:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): sets the
_fbpcookie on wiweb.io (90 days), and Meta may setfron its own domains (90 days). If you submit a form having accepted this category, we also send the event to Meta from our server with your email address irreversibly hashed (SHA-256), your IP address and your browser, to attribute the form to the ad. If you accept it, the pixel also runs in the dashboard (app.wiweb.io), and when you create your account we report that sign-up to Meta the same way (hashed email, IP address and browser). More information: Meta’s cookie policy. - Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.): the gtag.js tag sets the
_gcl_aucookie on wiweb.io (3 months) to link a visit to an ad, and Google may set cookies on its own domains (for exampleIDE) for measurement and remarketing. More information: how Google uses cookies.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): sets the
You can change your decision at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of wiweb.io; the change also applies to the dashboard. When you withdraw consent, the tools concerned stop loading; you can delete any cookies already set from your browser.
2. app.wiweb.io (the customer dashboard)
- Necessary. Authentication session cookies (
sb-…-auth-tokenand auxiliary cookies, managed by Supabase Auth) to keep you signed in, including when you sign in with Google. They expire when you sign out. Some interface preferences (for example, notices you have already seen) are saved in your browser’s local storage. None of them require consent. - Usage measurement. Vercel Web Analytics, cookieless and in aggregate, as on wiweb.io. This is first-party audience measurement without cross-site tracking, which the AEPD and the European authorities consider exempt from consent.
- Measuring sign-ups and ads. The dashboard loads the Google tag (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) to find out how many accounts are created and which campaigns bring them in. It has no notice of its own: it applies what you decided in the wiweb.io notice, as it is the same service and the same controller. If you accepted analytics or advertising there, the tag uses the same cookies in the dashboard, for the same purposes, as described in section 1. If you rejected them, never answered, or went straight to the dashboard, it runs in “consent mode” with everything denied: it does not set or read any cookie or identifier and only sends cookieless signals. To change this, use “Cookie preferences” in the footer of wiweb.io.
3. Our customers’ pages (wiweb.me subdomains and custom domains)
Pages published with wiweb are built not to track anyone. The controller of each page, and of any cookies they decide to add to it, is the business or person who owns the page; each page carries its own cookie policy, generated from what that page actually loads. What follows is what the platform does by default:
- No cookies or trackers. The page does not set cookies and does not use third-party analytics or advertising pixels. Your answer to the cookie notice is saved in local storage (key
nb_consent_v1). - The notice asks permission for one thing only: Google Fonts. Only if you accept are the fonts loaded from fonts.googleapis.com, in which case Google receives your IP address. If you reject, the page is shown with your device’s fonts.
- If the owner connects their own Google Analytics or Tag Manager, the notice says so and those tools only load if you accept them; in that case Google sets the
_gaand_ga_*cookies (up to two years). - Visits. The owner can see how many visits their page receives. They are counted on our server, without cookies: a hashed identifier that changes every day is calculated from your IP address and your browser, the IP address is not stored, and the data are kept aggregated by day, country and device type.
- YouTube videos. If the page includes a video widget, its cover image is served from our hosting: viewing it sends nothing to YouTube. The player only loads when you click the video, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); at that point Google receives your IP address and its terms apply. On pages with a video added before 12 September 2026, the cover image may still load from YouTube, in which case it only loads if you accept that page’s cookie notice. The map widget is a link to Google Maps; it does not embed anything.
4. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking the necessary cookies of app.wiweb.io will prevent you from signing in.
